Ice and Heat

Training today:

30 minutes stationary bike, hill climb level 10

Stair Mill Machine, 4 sets of 20 floors 90steps/min pace.   Max HR 123 Max R 32

This morning at 4 am my left knee woke me up with a strong dull pain.  This wasn't exactly how I wanted my wake up call to go this morning.  I took a couple Advil and added a heat pad.  It took about 45 minutes but the pain lessened enough to get a few more minutes of sleep.

Most of the day the knee was stiff and slightly swollen.  It could be that my joints are reaching a point during this training that they are getting a bit sensitive.  Ice and heat daily are likely in my future for the next couple weeks.
